Chapter 4
B’s mind was racing. He had ran away last night, after seeing C and F together. Why would C betray him? B had given everything up for C and C just cheated on him. B now understood how E must have felt. Should he imitate her? Find a rope to hang from? B’s train of thoughts was interrupted by walking into D. “What’s your problem?” said D in his meanest voice possible. B stared at him for a few seconds before jumping into his arms. They hugged in silence for a while.
“-What’s the problem B?
-He... cheated on... me.
-I knew we couldn’t trust C from the beginning. With that asshole F I am assuming?”
B nodded. “We will have a revenge. C will get what he deserves.” reassured D. Coincidently, as they pulled away, C came across the corner, not noticing them. D grabbed C by the shoulder and shoves him into a corner. Then D pins C to the wall by holding his shoulders to the brick building. B walks up. “Go ahead B, beat him.” B stared at C for a second. Hope rose in C chest, that B would pardon him. B immediately crushed that hope, punching C in the stomach. B’s lips moved into a cruel smile. B punched C on the right side of his face. B’s excitement slowly grew into a malicious joy to kill. Hit after hit, B enjoyed his time more and more. Picking up pace as the evil enjoyment grew to delight. C’s screams for help and mercy were covered by D’s arm. B went wild. The pleasure of making his lost lover suffer was immeasurable. B could see C’s light fading. In a final blow, he lifts his fist to do a straight punch but is caught by an unexpected presence. B doesn't have time to react that he is put to the ground with a simple tackle. D, too obsessed in watching C getting beaten up, hadn’t noticed F’s arrival from behind. He gets pushed to the side landing hard on his left arm. D screams in pain as he feels a bone crack. F turns to do the half conscious C lying on the ground, coughing blood. She helps him to his feet and starts walking away, helping the injured C to walk.
”-H... How... How did you...
-Don’t speak.”
C followed her instructions. They walked back to C’s home in silence.
